L-I-N-K-E-D is an online literary
journal composed by students at Spelman College in the Poetry Writing
Workshop. L-I-N-K-E-D aims to showcase the literary talents of student
artists, as well as writers and visual artists from various communities,
using the World Wide Web. The larger mission of L-I-N-K-E-D is to
establish connections among artists around the world, specifically
focusing on peoples throughout the African Diaspora. Whether contributors
to L-I-N-K-E-D reside in North/South America, Africa, Asia, Europe,
Australia, or anywhere else on the globe, we want to show that people
of African descent/ancestry are connected in a plethora of ways.
L-I-N-K-E-D proves that among our various commonalities throughout
the Diaspora, artistic expression is a link that keeps us bound
to the roots of our native land. |
