Request a Transcript
Our online payment system for transcripts is temporarily unavailable. Until further notice, please submit your requests by Mail. Payment must be in the form of cashier’s check or money order.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
- Visit the Registrar’s Office and complete the paper transcript request form
- Print and complete the transcript request form and mail it with your payment
- Mail a letter with the required information

Payment Options:
- Enclose your request with a check or money order and mail it to the address above
- Submit your request and payment in person
- Make your request and payment via BannerWeb
In Your Request Please Include:
- A signed statement authorizing the release of your transcript information
- The name under which you were enrolled
- Semester and year last attended
- Social security number
- The number of transcripts you need
- The address(es) where you wish your transcript(s) to be mailed and
- Payment (A cashier’s check or money order will be accepted for mailed requests)
Transcript Type
Regular – processed in 10 business days and then put into regular mail $5 per copy
Immediate – processed the next business day then put into regular mail $10 per copy
A transcript can be:
- Sent via express mail (next day delivery) for an additional $15.65 per address
- Sent via three-day priority mail for an additional $4.05 per address
Transcript Policies
- Payment must be received before transcripts can be processed
- ALL transcript requests must be made in writing and bear the student’s signature
- If a student has a hold on her account, the hold(s) must be removed before the transcript can be processed
- Please indicate the CORRECT address(es), name of person(s), or apartment number where the transcript is to be delivered. Spelman College Office of the Registrar takes no responsibility for incorrect mailing information
