This year, the traditional Convocation celebrating the College's founding will include special recognition of the milestone anniversary of the changing of the school's name to Spelman Seminary in 1884.

(Tradition dictates the mandatory attendance of our senior
and first-year classes at this Convocation. Therefore, seating
in Sisters Chapel will be limited. Please be prepared to
be seated in an overflow viewing location.)
