Connie Boswell

Connie Boswell is a busy lady with a full life. She teaches middle school math; tutors math at Delaware Community County College; teach math at the University of Phoenix Philadelphia campus; a seamstress specializing in prom gown and wedding parties; and is pursuing her doctoral degree in education leadership. But, Boswell's real passion is her company Guiding God's Property, a historically Black college and university bus touring company that brings girls between the eighth and 12th grades to campuses.

“This HCBU Tour gives me the opportunity to take students from the greater Philadelphia area, and take them to campuses that might be difficult for the parents to arrange,” said Boswell who plans her annual tour to Atlanta during Homecoming. “The campuses between Philadelphia and Atlanta will change each year.”

Her tours have brought hundreds of students from the Delaware Valley over the years to the campuses of Morgan State, Bowie State, Howard University, University of the District of Columbia, North Carolina A & T, Bennett, College, Johnson C. Smith, Morris Brown College, Clark-Atlanta University and Spelman College.

“I receive such heartwarming feedback from my tour students, many have been admitted to and attended Spelman,” she said. “I have guided many students to Spelman, and that is my contribution to maintain the College being healthy as we strive for wealthy.”
