Check Application Status

Welcome to the Spelman College application status check page. From here, you will be able to log in and see what documents have been received in the Office of Admissions. Login information will vary according to your method of application – Spelman Online, Common Application Online, or paper. Please review the section below for more information.

Once all necessary information has been received, your file will be forwarded for an initial review. Please remember that your admission decision is not available on the status check page. It will be sent via U.S. mail to the address on file in our office.

Application Status Check Log In Instructions
A username login and PIN are required to access the status check system. Your Spelman ID number was assigned when your application was processed. It was included on the acknowledgement letter sent to confirm receipt of your application.

Online Common Application
If you applied through the Common Application online application system, your Username is your Spelman ID number. Your PIN is your 6-digit birthdate (MMDDYY format).
