Admissions Timeline
Here are important dates to remember if you are applying or thinking of applying to Spelman College:

| Feb. 1 | Deadline for Regular Decision and Guest applications |
| March 1 | Deadline for Fall, Transfer and Readmission applications |
| March 1 | Priority packaging for FAFSA submission |
| April 1 | Regular Decision, Joint Enrollment, and Guest applicants receive admission decision notifications |
| April 1 | Deadline for FAFSA submissions |
| April 1 | Deadline for Fall Pauline E. Drake Scholars (PEDS) applications for non-degree students |
| April 2-3 | Spel-Bound Overnight Visitation Program (for admitted students only) |
| April 3 | Deadline for degree-seeking Gateway Program students to submit applications |
| May 1 | Enrollment deposit due to Office of Admissions |
| May 1 | Fall transfer applicants receive admission decision notification |
| July 5 | Deadline to submit Pre-Entrance Health Booklet for fall semester |
Other dates to keep in mind:
- Request an application for admission before the beginning of your senior year in high school.
- Make sure that you have taken your SAT I, ACT, or TOEFL early enough to allow time for scores to be forwarded by the College Board or Educational Testing Service to the Office of Admission before the application deadline.
