| January 1 | Yearly, January 1 is the first date to submit the FAFSA for federal processing, www.fafsa.ed.gov |
| February 1 | Yearly Priority Deadline: The FAFSA should be submitted and processed by the Federal Processor. Student's FAFSA file (SAR) is due in the Office of Financial Aid before February 1 for priority awarding. |
| April | Students can start applying for Spelman's Institutional Scholarships. Returning students only. |
| July 30 | Plus Loan and Student Loan applications must be completed and submitted to verify funds are disbursed in time for Fall enrollment.. |
| July 30 | Deadline for all documents to be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid to verify funds are disbursed in time for Fall enrollment. |
| July 30 | First payment is due to Office of Student Accounts for student's Fall enrollment. |
