Lab Operations: Responsible Printing
The Media & Information Technology Division (MIT) is in the process of implementing improvements to our business operations and service delivery policy and procedures. The objective of our improvement initiatives is to better serve the technical needs and wants of the campus community. As a result, MIT has implemented Responsible Printing in the computer lab located in Room 230 of the Science Center.
What is Responsible Printing and Why is it Beneficial?
Using the print management system will provide the following benefits:
- Eliminate wasted paper and expense.
- Enable MIT to redirect the dollars to needed technology acquisitions/enhancements for students.
- Automatically track paper usage by individual or in aggregate to enable MIT and students in particular, to improve management and/or budgeting for paper consumption.
