Facilities
Educational Media facilities include:
- areas for the production of basic audiovisual materials such as slides, overhead projection transparencies, posters, audio and videotapes
- video viewing areas located on campus
- television studio and black and white darkroom
Production Services
Photography: a variety
of photographic services, both color and
black &white,
are available. Professional quality prints
or slides may be produced for instruction,
research, publication, or display.
Video Recording
and Editing: special programs, projects,
activities, demonstrations, or lectures
may be videotaped and retained for future
use. Requests for videotaping must be
made in writing, and must be made at least
four weeks in advance. Charges may apply.
Immediate short notice requests may be
accommodated based on availability of staff
or part-time, freelance videographers.
Off-the-air videotaping and cross-format
video dubbing services are also available.
Both of these services are provided only
to the extent allowed by copyright law.
Recording guidelines may be obtained from
the Educational Media Center.

Self Help
Users are asked to prepare their own materials for the following:
- Overhead Transparencies: original material, photos, slides, or masters which have been prepared by hand, printed by computer, or typed can be made into transparencies.
- Mounting and Laminating: visual materials may be mounted or laminated to enhanced their appearance for display and to preserve and protect them.
- Computer generated slides via power point software program.
