About
Banner is a comprehensive and integrated, graphical user interface informaton system. It stores data in Oracle relational database, and users interact with the system by means of screens (forms). At Spelman College Banner is used by the Student, Finance, Human Resource, Location Management, Advancement, General and Financial Aid department. Its web interface allows the services such as Student Self-serve, Faculty/Advisors Self-serve, and Employee Web Self- serve products.

Goal
We are a customer service organization whose success is based on the success of Spelman College’s administrative capabilities.Our goal is to successfully manage the college resources while providing the higest levels of quality.
Services
Our services range from consultation to implementation and include:
- Administrative process analysis (general advising and programming solutions)
- Consultation with Spelman College departments on software development and purchases.
- Database administration for Oracle databases specific to various applications such as SecurePay.
- Secure access to institutional information using reports and direct access.
- Third-party software implementation assistance for software such as Touchnet, Schedule25, and WebCT.
- Data interfaces to other systems
- ODBC Support
- Facilitating consultation support for training and implementation.
