Students will be mentored by faculty in labs either at Spelman College or other area institutions. Participants will have an opportunity to interact and network with scientists and other researchers through participation in weekly program meetings, lectures, research symposia, and conferences, designed to enhance preparation for graduate school.

Eligibility

Students in their sophomore, junior or senior year majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, or psychology who have previous research experience and an intention to obtain a Ph.D. in one of the sciences, leading to a career in biomedical research.
