Jeanne T. Meadows is
a Spelman alumna. She received
the Ph.d. from Emory University. She
has been the Chair of the Department
since 1992. She is the Coordinator
of the International Studies Minor. Dr.
Meadows teaches courses in the International
Relations track including "American
Foreign Policy" and International
Relations."
Her primary research
interests are in the area of Peace
Studies and International Law. Present
research interests have been limited
to summer travel to Mexico and the
countries of Central America where
she is studying indigenous issues and
problems of democratization in that
region.
