Spelman College Computer Science Olympiad 2013

Spelman College is a private, liberal arts, historically black college for women located in Atlanta, Georgia. The Computer Science major was established as a separate department from Mathematics in 1984. The goals of the Computer Science Department at Spelman College are to prepare students for graduate training in some specialized area of computer science, to prepare students for jobs in industry, business, or government, and to provide support courses for students in engineering, mathematics, and other fields requiring computer skills.

In an effort to meet our departmental goals in a new, exciting, and innovative manner the department of Computer Science has hosted an annual Spelman College Computer Science Olympiad since 2003.

In 2013 the 11th Annual National Olympiad will be held
March 22 - 23, 2013
at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Undergraduate student teams from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, ARTSI or ADMI member computer science/engineering departments are invited to participate in the National Olympiad. The National will be a two day five-event competition.

From the Spelman College Computer Science Olympiad Staff, Association for Computing Machinery and Upsilon Pi Epsilon we hope to see you there.
