Project Pericles is a not-for-profit organization that encourages and facilitates commitments by colleges and universities to include education for social responsibility and participatory citizenship as an essential part of their education programs, in the classroom, on campus and in the community. Spelman College joined the program in 2006. |
Community Service Fairs
Held biannually, the Spelman College-sponsored community service fairs give Spelman students interested in volunteerism the opportunity to connect with more than 75 community organizations. The community service fairs serve to strengthen the link between the campus and the community by supplying community organizations with dedicated Spelman volunteers.
