Sustainable Spelman Ambassadors
Julissa Hunte, C’2016
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Julissa Hunte is a senior environmental science major on a pre-law track. As the president/founder of the Spelman chapter of the Pretty Brown Girl Mentoring Cub, she works closely with the community and sees first hand the need for environmental outreach and service. Julissa is passionate about environmental education and justice and she plans to pursue an environmental law degree upon graduating from Spelman.
Sydney Hubbert, C’2017
Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, junior Sydney Hubbert is an aspiring environmental consultant motivated to foster community livability and create sustainability solutions for communities with high-populations of minorities, such as the Atlanta Unversity Center community. She is particularly passionate about issues surrounding environmental justice, green jobs, gentrification and divesting from fossil fuels.
Eniola Sodeke, C’2018
Eniola Sodeke is a sophomore honors student majoring international studies and business management. She is passionate about the environment and excited about discussing and developing remedies that will help people take better care of the environment and ultimately their health and communities.
