Thoughts on why she chose to serve on the Spelman College Board of Trustees: My desire to serve on the Spelman Board of Trustees is two-fold. First, The Coca-Cola Company has a wonderful on-going relationship with Spelman and I am proud to continue that supportive role with my Board membership. Secondly, I am an African-American native of Atlanta. I grew up knowing that Spelman women were professional and sophisticated. I have known many proud African-American women who graduated from Spelman. I am personally very proud that I can support such a wonderful institution.
