Thoughts on why she chose to serve on the Spelman College Board of Trustees: I have chosen to serve because of my commitment to the future of Spelman and the College’s continued high standards and excellence in educating women of color. My service as a trustee provides a sense of personal contribution that I can make to the vision, mission and goals of the College. Lastly, it allows me to give back to a school that has given me so much.
