Ashe has a broad range of legal experience across a variety of industries, having held executive and senior level legal positions with large domestic and multi-national companies such as IBM, AT&T, Darden Restaurants and PBS, where she served as vice president and deputy general counsel.   Prior to embarking upon her legal career, Ashe was a microcomputer-based design electrical engineer for IBM.

Ashe is very active in the community and has served on the boards of many community-based organizations including the United Negro College Fund of Central Florida, the DC Chapter of Girls, Inc., and Hebni Nutrition, to name a few. My reason for wanting to serve on the Board
 – My passion for my alma mater began during my years as a student and still runs deep today.  Having the opportunity to serve the school and the students in this capacity is an honor.  To be able to help impact and shape the lives of these outstanding young ladies as they are groomed to make their marks on the world, is a blessing.
