Obese children increase their chances of developing heart disease, hypertension and Type 2 diabetes. As part of the College's Project Impact initiative, T.A.T.O.O., organized the K!DZ walk as a creative way to address these alarming statistics in the community right outside of  Spelman's gates. The College has partnered with four elementary schools in the community which include Dunbar Elementary, Brown Elementary, KIPP STRIVE Academy and the Atlanta Preparatory Academy.
