Exhibitions

The Museum presents exhibitions that honor its mission to emphasize art by and about women of the African Diaspora. The Museum presents two exhibitions each year that include solo, thematic, group, and period-specific projects. Many exhibitions are original projects that the Museum staff organizes. Others are organized by other institutions and the Museum serves as a the presenting institution. All exhibitions feature nationally and internationally regarded artists who demonstrate exceptional promise and consistently push the boundaries of their artistic practice.
