Media and Information Technology
The mission of the Media and Information Technology Division is to provide information technology resources that enhance the learning experience of students, foster the instructional and research activities of faculty, and support the information needs of administration. The outcomes from fulfillment of the MIT mission statement are:

Banner, the College’s Academic Information System software application, integrates student, financial, human resources, and financial aid data. Banner processes, stores, retrieves, and reports information from one integrated set of data. Request a Banner account

Computer Network Account -- The log-on account for access to the wireless network and PCs in classrooms/computer labs. Request a network account

SpEL.Folio -- The Spelman College Electronic Portfolio Project develops students' ability to think critically about the connections among their intellectual, professional, and personal lives, and express their reflections within an interface that allows students' to create dynamic web-based compositions.

Moodle -- The course management system used at Spelman College to support web enriched courses. Professors use Moodle to create and deliver online tests, self tests, and surveys; and to post lecture notes, presentations, class assignments, important class events, grades, and much more.
